Hello! My name is Brandon and welcome to my posting!
I am looking to sell my xxxx Saturn Vue V6 AWD Automatic w/ about 84.5k on it. I really don't WANT to get rid of it, I LOVE it, but I lost my job about 2 months ago and I can no longer afford the payments on it. Ok, yes I have a loan on the vehicle but don't worry, I called my bank and they keep the titles in house so no scams or pre-paid deals here...if I decide an offer is good the buyer will follow me down to the bank to make the transaction and get the title. Fair, honest, secure.
As this is my main vehicle for transportation, I will need a replacement car which is why I do have a certain number in mind that leaves me with the vehicle payed off, and some money aside so I can buy something outright to replace it with (I will consider a cash/trade offer...details to follow on vehicles I would consider for this). Before I state the amount I'm looking for, let's make a list of options and features....
It Has: Power windows, power door locks, remote keyless entry, cruise control, am/fm/cd stereo w/ aux. Port, leather wrapped steering wheel w/ audio controls, wood grain trim dash, leather seats, auto dimming rear-view mirror w/ outside temperature control n compass, 60/40 split rear seats, variable speed wipers, and a couple other features I cant think of right now lol. Also, the V6 engine in this is actually a Honda engine!!! It's the stock engine, GM just used Honda's V6 engine instead of their own. Considering how cheap the SUV is, and the fact that it has a Honda engine, this vehicle will last a LONG time and you get a GREAT deal!!!!!
Issues: Some, I'm not gonna lie, but nothing serious; no drive-train issues. It could use a couple hours, some cleaning equipment, elbow grease, and some TLC to clean it up a little to make it look amazing, but isn't in bad shape. The cruise control has stopped working, and the rear wiper is slow to respond.. The only "damage" is 3 small dents on the hood from last winter's hail, and a scratch I just noticed a week or two ago on the passenger door (I think I got keyed). The tires will have to be replaced before next winter, and the rotors and breaks will need to be done probably soon.
The vehicle is being sold "AS IS", not as some kind of scam, but rather that I don't want conditional offers such as "if you throw in free tires" or "pay for new brakes". I'll be more than happy to bring it to a mechanic to have someone check out the vehicle for a customer (at your expense) or offer a test drive to show I'm not selling a lemon. As I said before I LOVE this SUV, and if it weren't for finances I'd probably be keeping it and driving it into the ground.
Kelley Blue Book reports that "Private Party Value" for my car w/ its options is $11,280 for excellent, $10,680 for good, and $9,705 for fair. I can't in all good conscience say it's in excellent condition because of the scratch, cosmetic flaws, and tire wear, BUT is in good running condition, with no drive-train issues, mechanical damage, and has had oil changes every 3-5k. I think it would qualify being in good condition, and even though KBB says $10,680 IM ONLY ASKING $xxxx!!!! Offers are always welcome. All SERIOUS offers WILL be considered. PRICE HAS BEEN LOWERED AS I NEED TO SELL THIS CAR BEFORE THE BANK REPOSSESS IT!!!
CARS I WOULD CONSIDER IN CASH & TRADE: Now remember, any situation involving a trade would still have to satisfy my vehicle being payed off and knowing my payoff amount, I know I can't be picky. I realize I'm looking for something older with at least 150k on it, but I do still have preferences. Brands I would consider ONLY: Toyota, Honda, Scion, Subaru, Acura, Nissan, and Infiniti. Preferably stick shift, 4cylinder, sedan or hatchback.
I'm mostly looking to see what kind of offers I get, serious offers will be DEFINITELY considered. Don't try and low-ball me, I'm open to offers yes, but stand firm in that I know what my vehicle is worth. Ok, it's a Saturn, yes their resale value isn't near Toyota or Honda for example, I know. I used to work in car sales. BUT, it has a honda engine, in good condition, is a v6 AWD SUV with only 84.5k on it and I'm only asking around 8-9k for it and have been completely honest with everything "wrong" with it...your getting a fair deal here. Quick questions etc. you can text to (508) 864-xxxx. or feel free to call. If I don't answer leave a message and I'll get back to you A.S.A.P.
Thank You again for your consideration, and GL to you in your search!
